One consolidated revision round is included with every project. Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope, not due to an error on our part, are billed at $70 USD / hour. This includes extra revision rounds, major creative changes after editing has begun, and re-editing previously approved sections.
Music licensing is the client's responsibility. We work with Musicbed and recommend it as a reliable source for high-quality, licensable tracks. For a highlight film, we typically use one main track plus its instrumental version. We are flexible - you are welcome to provide any track you prefer, in WAV format along with its instrumental version. If you would like us to handle licensing on your behalf, this is available as an additional paid service quoted separately. We are not responsible for copyright claims resulting from music supplied by the client.

Production Terms & Project Guidelines
Each project is quoted and approved based on the agreed scope, package, runtime, deliverables and creative direction.
Any services, deliverables or changes outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.

Music licensing is the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you would like Story Post Production to handle music licensing on your behalf, this is available as an additional paid service, quoted separately based on the selected track and intended use.
Highlight Film - One highlight film includes one music track.
Feature Film - A feature film of up to 30 minutes includes up to 8 music tracks.
Additional tracks can be licensed and added at an additional cost. Story Post Production is not responsible for copyright claims or restrictions resulting from music supplied or licensed by the client.
One consolidated round of revisions is included with each project.
The revision round takes place after the first complete edit has been delivered.
A revision round means one consolidated set of reasonable creative notes submitted by the client after reviewing the complete edit.
To keep the process efficient, revision feedback should be provided as one consolidated list.
Additional revision rounds or changes outside the agreed project scope are billed at $70 USD / hour.
This includes revisions requested after the included revision round, as well as substantial changes to previously approved creative decisions.
Changes resulting from an error or omission on the part of Story Post Production will be corrected at no additional cost.
The project is edited according to the creative direction, references and instructions agreed upon before editing begins.
Before production starts, the client will complete a Project Intake Form and Creative Direction Questionnaire provided by Story Post Production.

The completed forms must be submitted before editing begins.
Major changes to the creative concept, storyline, music direction, structure or overall style after editing has begun may be considered additional work and billed separately.
Story Post Production may make creative decisions regarding pacing, shot selection, transitions, sound design and storytelling in order to achieve the agreed creative direction.
Before editing begins, the client must provide all required project information and materials.
The project timeline begins once all required materials, information and creative direction have been received.
Any delays in receiving footage, music, feedback, approvals, forms or other required materials may affect the estimated delivery date.
The client is responsible for providing all required footage, audio recordings, music, references and other project materials in an accessible and usable format.
The client is responsible for ensuring that all materials supplied to Story Post Production are legally authorized for use.
The client is also responsible for ensuring that any music, images, fonts, stock footage or other third party materials they provide have the appropriate permissions and licenses.
Project pricing and payment terms are agreed upon before production begins.
For new clients, Story Post Production may require either full payment upfront or a 50% deposit before editing begins, depending on the project scope.
For established production partners, alternative payment terms such as Net 7 or Net 14 may be agreed upon in writing.
Editing will begin once the required payment has been received and all necessary project materials and intake forms have been submitted.
If Story Post Production purchases music licensing on behalf of the client, the licensing fee must be paid in advance before the license is purchased.
Payments can be made via Revolut, PayPal or Payoneer.
Final deliverables will be released once all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
Estimated delivery times are based on the agreed project scope and begin once all required materials, payment and creative direction have been received.
Delivery timelines may be adjusted if:
Rush delivery may be available depending on current production capacity and may be subject to an additional fee.

All additional deliverables will be confirmed and quoted before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed, the final delivery consists of the completed exported video files included in the agreed package.
Raw footage, Final Cut Pro libraries, project files, timelines, proxies, working files, templates, presets and other internal post production materials are not included in the final delivery.
Story Post Production may retain project files and client materials for a limited period following final delivery. Long term storage is not guaranteed.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their own backup of all final deliverables and original footage.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Story Post Production may showcase completed work in its portfolio, website, social media and other professional promotional materials.
If a project is confidential or cannot be publicly displayed, this must be communicated to Story Post Production before production begins.
Client footage, project materials and private project information will be treated as confidential and will not knowingly be disclosed to third parties except where necessary to provide the agreed services or where required by law.
Clients may request confidentiality or a no portfolio use arrangement in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Story Post Production retains ownership of its original editing systems, workflows, templates, presets, project structures, creative processes and other proprietary working materials.
Upon full payment, the client receives the final exported deliverables specified in the agreed project scope.
Third party materials, including music, fonts, stock footage, plugins and other licensed assets, remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
Once a project or section of a project has been approved, subsequent changes to previously approved content may be considered additional revisions and billed accordingly.
The client is responsible for reviewing final deliverables and confirming that all requested changes have been addressed before final approval.
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the client is responsible for payment for work already completed and any non-refundable third party costs incurred on their behalf.
Projects placed on hold by the client may affect the original delivery timeline.
Extended project holds may require rescheduling based on Story Post Production's current availability.
Story Post Production may use third party services, platforms and licensed assets as part of the post production process. These may include music libraries, cloud storage, review platforms, stock libraries, plugins and other professional tools.
Story Post Production is not responsible for restrictions, claims or changes imposed by third party platforms or services relating to materials supplied or licensed by the client.
The client agrees to:
Any changes to the agreed project scope, deliverables, runtime, creative direction or timeline should be confirmed in writing.
Additional work resulting from such changes may be quoted separately before production continues.
By approving a project quote, booking Story Post Production's services, or providing project materials for production, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Production Terms & Project Guidelines together with the specific terms included in their project quote or agreement.
Where a project specific agreement differs from these general guidelines, the project specific agreement will take precedence.
